Dear Susie,

I have attached a couple of pics from our time on Dogstar with Oliver, Dal and Andy, joined by Andres week one and James week two. On the last day of our trip we experienced the most exhilarating sail across the strait with good wind, calm sea, warm weather and dolphins – it was so good that I heard the words I hoped to hear from Sheenagh – “I think you and me can do this together on a smaller boat”. She was transformed, transfixed and tangibly moved to a point of emotion I had crossed my fingers for. Sheenagh and I had a fantastic experience which we successfully turned into a “holiday” too.

Thank you for arranging it all and for your patience in answering our novice questions. We have reflected very favourably on the two weeks which Oliver handled very professionally – I love the guy and would have no problem sailing with him anywhere in the world.

I just made a quick visit this weekend to Gibraltar to catch up with Roddy. He seems very happy and highly motivated. I think that the only thing that he is missing is your cooking ! He made me so enthusiastic too that I was wondering if there might be a possibility of taking my Day Skipper Course when Roddy is back in Barcelona ? How many days would this take? I have RYA Powerboat Level 2, in case that is relevant. Please let me know your thoughts and costings

RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Qualifying Passages and Mile Building opportunities on our Jeauneau Sun Odysea 45 departing from Marina San Miguel Tenerife March 1st 2014. We are sailing the yacht from Tenerife via our Queensway Quay base in Gibraltar then routing on to our Barcelona base. If you need to complete your RYA/MCA Ocean Qualifying passage or want to Mile Build then this is an ideal opportunity. You can join us from either Tenerife or Gibraltar.

We are also offering Mile Building from the base in Marina San Miguel Tenerife to Salvagem, then Maderia, returning back to San Miguel passing close to La Palma. Berths for winter sailing in Tenerife are available now.

November and December 2013 Milebuilding and Atlantic Adventure Sailing from Gibraltar to Portugal including Morocco and Spain. Throughout November and December we have berths available on board our Beneteau Oceanis 473 sailing from Queensway Quay Gibraltar. You can join us to complete all of your tidal miles and qualifying passages before the Christmas break. Sailing with Oliver our RYA Yachtmaster Instructor you will complete some exciting Atlantic sailing and build your skills.
